Welcome to the first issue of BibLITothèque: the Writer's Library!
This issue is going to sound oddly specific, but it's important for prose fiction (and narrative poetry!) I'm going to show you how to make appropriate word choices based on the setting and context of your story. First, take a moment to think about two elements of your work.
Setting: When and where does it take place? Do you want a certain feel to your setting? For example, Supernatural is a contemporary Western, while Firefly is a space Western. Both are very different from spaghetti Westerns with traditional cowboys.
Narrator: This might be your main character, a min
